Public comments on unemployment

The Department of Workforce Development is having public comments on unemployment scheduled for Thursday, 17 November 2016, from 3-6 PM. There are locations in Eau Claire, La Crosses, Superior, Green Bay, Milwaukee, and Wausau.

    • The UI system as originally conceived presumes employee eligibility for unemployment benefits. There has been a marked change in unemployment compounded with how the Department carries out this law now to create a presumption of INeligibility and even intentional fraud for accidental mistakes.
